5 ways to fit exercise into your child’s daily life!

Will my child, like this exercise? Will this, strain her or will this stress him too much? We as parents, often come across this? Yet, we are challenged with the idea that, children need exercises also. The question is, ‘how do we select the right type of exercise for our children?’ These questions cannot only be challenging, but also perplexed at times, leaving us to think ‘what would be the fate our children’s health?’

1. Planking
Kids always like to be active! Even a dull moment, can actually worry them. If you are on a look out for exercises that can go with your child's everyday lifestyle, then go in for planks. Planks can be done by children whenever, they complain about leg pains or after any game.
[Planks are a great exercise, that all kids can do without any worry or fuss would be the planks. Planks, can actually help children in making their basic steps towards exercise. The best part about planking is that, children love to explore their hands and legs.
How to instruct your child?
Put your elbows on the floor, raise up on the tips of your toes, and keep your back straight and your abs tight in a line. Hold that position as long as you can. 30 seconds is pretty good if your kids can hold it that long.

2. Squats
Kids can be amazing at times. So, if you find them doing something that involves them to do continuous sitting, then go in for squats. In other words, have you ever tried considering squats doing with children? If so, then go ahead and ask them to do so. When compared to adults, squats can go a long way in helping them to build their agility and physical strength.
How to teach your children to do squats?
Put your feet a shoulders’ width apart and do deep knee bends as if you’re sitting down on an invisible box. Relax! Breathe and now put your arms out. Make sure your knees don’t extend past your toes.

3. Push-ups
Another way to fit exercise into your child’s life is you being their fitness model. Which means, you should start exercising in front of them and make them feel the need and necessity. You can do this by resorting to simple pushups. This is great way to get your children feel fit and energized all day long. Just like adults, kids can also get benefited greatly by doing pushups. In fact, it would be better, if they do this before the meal time.
How to make children do push-ups?
Lie down on your stomach, take deep breath and keep your abs tight and your back straight; you can do this with a straight or bent knee. Relax and do it again for a different experience and feel.

4. Crunches
Unlike the usual exercise routines, crunches on the other hand, do not require any standardised pose or mechanisms that will displace your child’s playtime or any routines. You can ask your child, to do crunches whenever, they are sitting or feeling bored. When you do so, they will feel happy and cherished and at the same time you will also have the feel of incorporating exercises without any ways
How to introduce crunches to children?
Sit-up, but not all the way from floor to knee. Just curl your chest toward your knees.

5. Lunges
Children love to experiment with their hands, body and legs. On a fun note, you can try experimenting lunges with them and see how they are reacting. Compared to other exercises, lunges are pretty simple and it can be done in a playful way also.
How to teach lunges to children?
Take a step. Touch your back knee to the floor, and make sure your front knee doesn’t extend past the toes.
